IRCHSS 2023

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FHSS) of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka proudly invites you to the 8th International Research Conference on Humanities and Social Sciences (IRCHSS 2023), an event that has attracted both local and international scholars over the last few years.

IRCHSS 2023 will be held on 16th (Thursday) and 17th (Friday) March 2023 as a HYBRID Conference under the theme “Seeing through Testing Times and the Future.”  The inauguration ceremony will take place at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura while the speeches and presentations will take place on a virtual platform.

IRCHSS 2023, as it has been in the past, aims at providing a platform for renowned intellectuals and emerging scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research on all aspects of Humanities and Social Sciences. However, this year, guided by the theme, we encourage research that investigates both the challenges and opportunities posed by the current socio-economic situations and analyses their implications to propose strategic plans.
